The entire structure of the Latemar Hotel is designed and certified by the Marchio OPEN Trentino to ensure full accessibility: from the reception to the restaurant, from the bar to the spa area, including terraces, public spaces, parking areas, and the entire property.

The Marchio OPEN Trentino identifies hospitality establishments that guarantee high standards of accessibility, hospitality, and service quality for people with disabilities and with specific needs related to mobility, autonomy, and comfort. It is a recognition reserved for properties that choose to transform inclusive hospitality into a concrete value, through environments designed to be truly accessible, elegant, and free of barriers.
In 2024, Il Latemar - Hotel Suites & Spa officially joined the OPEN Trentino network, standing out among the few certified properties in the region to offer a stay experience that combines luxury, design, and authentic accessibility.
This journey was developed during the renovation of 8 design suites inspired by the world, and also grew through the collaboration with HandyCREA and the application of the principles of Design for All: a contemporary design approach that creates spaces that are beautiful, functional, and accessible to everyone, without distinction. Not simply adapted environments, but spaces conceived from the very beginning to offer well-being, exclusive comfort, and a truly inclusive hospitality experience.

Our 8 new themed Suites, each one unique and world-inspired, located in the historic wing of the hotel, have been designed to welcome every guest with natural ease, autonomy, and serenity.
The spaces integrate:
- lighting, acoustic, and vibration-based systems designed to support guests who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as blind or visually impaired guests
- solutions designed for the comfort of guests with reduced mobility, including step-free access, fluid spatial layouts, integrated designer grab bars, dedicated seating, curtains, and carefully crafted details to ensure freedom of movement and safety in every environment
In particular, the Thermae & Wild Soul Suites are designed to offer a unique stay experience, combining elegance and comfort with full accessibility. Free from architectural barriers and equipped with visual signals for deaf guests and acoustic alerts for blind guests, they ensure an effortless and inclusive stay for people with different types of disabilities.

Hospitality designed for every person
The Suites in the historic part of the hotel are designed to offer full accessibility for guests with sensory disabilities. In addition, two of our standard rooms also provide dedicated features for our guests, such as grab bars in the shower and a level-access (walk-in) shower.
These room and suite types with specific accessibility features are available upon request and subject to availability. Therefore, it is necessary to specify this requirement at the time of booking request, so we can check and reserve the most suitable solution for each guest’s individual needs.

The reception is easily reachable, and our team is always available to assist every guest with care and attention, especially those with specific accessibility needs. The bar, lounge, and panoramic terraces are designed to ensure maximum comfort, with spacious and accessible areas where guests can enjoy a coffee or aperitif in complete relaxation, admiring the #latemarview over the Dolomites.
The new “Mirage” restaurant is bright, spacious, and fully accessible, developed in collaboration with HandyCREA and in line with the guidelines of the Marchio OPEN Trentino, confirming a concrete commitment to inclusive and high-quality hospitality.
The wellness area, featuring the Oniro Spa, the Private Spa Ofuro, and the treatment rooms, is designed to ensure deep relaxation even for guests with reduced mobility, with easy-access layouts that allow everyone to unwind in a peaceful atmosphere.
The hotel is served by two elevators, providing convenient access to all areas and ensuring full autonomy and ease of movement.
Guests also have access to an outdoor parking area and an indoor garage (extra, reservation required), with dedicated spaces for guests with disabilities, ensuring simple and direct access to the hotel.
The surrounding area further enhances the experience: wide, accessible outdoor spaces, the stunning Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa cycle path right in front of the hotel, and easy access directly from the property to parks, green areas, and nature trails in Val di Fassa. A region offering countless opportunities to explore and enjoy nature, even for guests with different physical needs and abilities, without giving up the pleasure of the mountains and outdoor wellbeing.
